#ForTheWin: Leading Through Conflict

Recently, RiverWalk Leadership partnered with a global leadership development NPO who specialize in the training, coaching and mentoring of leaders. We were tasked to come alongside a group of leaders who find themselves steeped in organizational and interpersonal workplace conflicts.

As we listened and learned with our partners, we agreed the best return on investment would be to spend a half-day up-skilling these leaders around the single leadership competency of leading through conflict.

At the end of our time together, one of the participants named Sarah said she “really appreciated the experiential aspect of our time together. It’s one thing to talk about leading through conflict, but another to experience and feel the feelings of it.“

Another participant, Josh shared “I really appreciated having two facilitators sharing their expertise, the back and forth really added depth to things. It also resonated that we got both a 30,000 foot meta-narrative as well as learning at a practical level on the ground floor.”
