#ForTheWin: Turning the Tide!

Recently, RiverWalk Leadership partnered with a national non-profit organization that serves roughly 3.6 million young people through after-school programs at their 5,000+ locations.
We were tasked to come alongside a segment of leaders who were struggling to meet their sizable operational, fiscal and participation goals. The crisis brought on by COVID had limited their programming abilities and facility use (among other things), so these leaders were not able to “carry on as usual” given their post-pandemic landscape.
As we listened and learned with our partners, we agreed the best return on investment would be to spend a half-day up-skilling these leaders around a single leadership competency.
At the end of our time together, Mary (an observer from the national office) said “Great session! The learning was fun, easy to apply to our work and will help us reach our goals because I could see that they got it in their hearts and their heads. I actually wish all our new executives could go through this session as part of their onboarding.”
